Il mondo della moda... Lo stile, i vestiti e lo shopping!

The world of fashion… Style, clothes and shopping! When you’re in Italy, would you like to go shopping for new items to add to your wardrobe? How would you describe your style? Could you ask for something in a different size?

In this 1.5 hour Italian WALKshop, we will wander through St Collins Lane and practise speaking about la moda (fashion) and shopping for clothes. As we make our way around to see the boutiques, you will be encouraged to use Italian to speak about what you can see, items of clothing that you might want to buy or try on, and how to describe them.

This ‘walking workshop’ is intended to be a fun, active and social language learning experience in a real-life context, where the stores and the clothes they sell serve as prompts to talk about and describe different things in Italian that you might not usually cover in your regular learning space. You will be provided with some printed materials on useful vocabulary and phrases for the session to help you get started and the WALKshop hosts will be there to support you along the way.

This small group session is open to learners of all levels of Italian.

The WALKshop will be led by Monica from Su Misura Italy, an experienced Italian tutor and native speaker, supported by Rebecca from Irregular Endings.
